Monday, September 10, 2007 New Catalog & New Party! Hello Penguins! While most of you are heading back to school and learning a lot of new stuff, we decided to add a lot of new stuff to Club Penguin too!  What better way to enter a new season than with some new fall fashion for your penguin!  Be sure to check out the new clothing catalog and as always, we’d love to know which new stuff is your favorite! Another thing we’re working on is the first ever “Club Penguin Fall Fair!”  It is going to be a huge party with some fun new stuff that has never been in a party before!  I can’t say anymore right now, but I will try to get a “sneak peek” picture for you next week. In other news:  Be sure to check the telescope because Rockhopper might be coming back soon and I’ve heard he has some cool new things to help you get ready for the Fall Fair! With the release of the wakeboards in Ballistic Biscuit, we decided it was time for a new name, but we need your help! Rather than come up with a name on our own, we decided to give you the choice! This Thursday we will open a poll on the website and in the newspaper to find a new name. Please look through the choices and let us know which one is your favorite! If you haven’t already been there, be sure to check out the updated sport shop! Not only does it include some of the sports items you’ve been asking for, but it also includes the first ever UPGRADES to games! If you surf with one of the new boards or play ballistic biscuit with a wakeboard, it will be easier to earn even more coins! For those of you who are non-members, we have some brand new backgrounds for you to add to your player card and we’ll add even more stuff in the future. Be sure to check it out and let us know what your favorite new item is! In other news: The new pin was released today! You can have fun finding it on your own, or better yet, form a search party to find it with friends! Also, we’ve got even more cool stuff planned for September including a HUGE fall party, and soon after that’s done a brand new way to decorate your penguin! Hello Penguins! This Friday marks the opening of the updated Sport Shop.  I still can’t say too much about what will be new, but the picture above is a bit of a hint.  Anyway, I would love to hear what you think it is!  More news will come out in the paper tomorrow. This party is only going to last this weekend so make sure you check it all out before then. My favorite part is the bonfire at the beach, but I would love to know yours! Also, as summer comes to an end, we’re getting ready for some very big stuff this fall including brand new parties, brand new features, brand new missions, and brand new games! I wanted to give you a quick peek at what one room of the party is going to look like this weekend. It will only last until Monday, so be sure to check it out! In honor of the camping party and all the cool tents (igloos) that are out there, we decided to add some new coloring pages and wallpaper to the “Fun Stuff” section this Friday. With the camping party almost here, you’ve been asking for a cool tent and some fun camping furniture! As always, we loved all your ideas and we hope you enjoy setting up your very own tent! We’ve got a full weekend coming up. The new Furniture Catalog and Igloo upgrades will be available on Friday, so be sure to check those out! In other news: If you haven’t already noticed in the telescope, the Migrator is sailing towards Club Penguin which means that Rockhopper will be here soon! Hello Penguins! They day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! The new mission is now available in the Agent HQ. Try it out and let us know what you think! If you tried once already and were unable to get in, try logging off and back in again. We found a bug that needed to be squashed, so thanks for your patience! You will also notice that some of the sled runs are closed for repair. They should be back up and running in a few days and they might even look a bit different! Congratulations to the igloo contest winners and thanks to everyone who participated.  It was a lot of fun and you all did a great job!  We’ll try to have another contest very soon. The new clothing catalog comes out on Friday and it has some really great new camping gear that will help you get ready for the party later this month! You’ll want to gear up because its going to be a blast!  I’ll tell you more about the party as soon as I can! Don’t forget that we have the first ever Best Outfit contest starting on Friday as well. You may have heard that Club Penguin is now a part of Disney and you may be wondering what does that mean?  Over the last few months, Club Penguin has been looking for a company we could work with to help us not only add more cool stuff to Club Penguin, but to take Club Penguin throughout the world into many different languages.  We wanted kids all over the world to be able to experience Club Penguin and we couldn’t do it alone. As far as the game is concerned, not much will change.  Everyone on the Club Penguin Team will continue to work hard to make Club Penguin the best it can be.  Our hope is that you don’t even notice a difference unless it means we’re making something better!  Please let us know what you think and feel free to ask any questions.  We’ll try to answer as many as we can!
